The truffles are made fresh every day by chocolatier Ian Farrell in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are made completely by hand in small batches using traditional techniques with 70% Scharffenberger bittersweet dark chocolate and 38% Guittard milk chocolate. The truffles are made in the original French artisan style giving them their rustic look. He also uses only the freshest of ingredients from local farms where possible. As they contain absolutely no artificial flavors or additives the shelf life on these truffles is four to six weeks from date of purchase with proper storage in a cool dry place (50-65 F). Refrigeration is not recommended.
The truffles are produced and packaged to order so 2-3 weeks notice is required to produce your orders in a timely manner.
